New York Islanders v Winnipeg Jets
The Islanders looked done for after losing John Tavares to the Leafs during the offseason, but they’ve surprised everyone by hanging around the top of the Eastern Conference. At 16-8, Winnipeg have been equally impressive currently sitting third in the West, but they haven’t faced New York’s physical defence inside the Barclays Center just yet. For all of their hard work, the Islanders have scored the ninth fewest goals in the league this year, which makes the Unders a good bet.
Vegas Golden Knights v Washington Capitals
It’s a rematch of last year’s Stanley Cup Final, and if you’ll remember correctly, the Capitals had no trouble winning on away ice. Washington ride into this one on the heels of a strong 7-1 record in their last eight games, which includes successful road trip to New York to beat both the Rangers and Islanders. If you’re looking for something a little more convincing though, how about this – the Capitals are 22-8 in their last 30 road games dating back to last year.
Manchester United v Arsenal
Arsenal’s unbeaten run remains intact following a huge triumph over rivals Tottenham on the weekend. Manchester United have been in good form themselves, however their 2-2 draw against Southampton cost them a chance to move up the ladder. Both of these sides are capable of winning this game, but Unai Emery’s 0-3-1 record against Jose Mourinho suggests otherwise.
