New England Patriots vs Buffalo Bills
In what should be one of the less exciting Monday Night Football games of the season, the Patriots head to Buffalo to take on a Bills side down on luck, confidence, and overall talent. The Patriots haven’t lost to Buffalo since 2016, but more impressively, they haven’t lost a game at New Era Stadium since 2011. Bill Belichick’s side have really hit their stride in recent weeks, and the emergence of a reliable run game behind Sony Michel should prove too much to handle for the Bills.
Vancouver Canucks vs Minnesota Wild
There’s quite a stark contrast between these two sides right now. The red hot Wild are currently riding a five-game win streak, while the Canucks are on a two-game skid. Not surprisingly, in terms of goals allowed, the Wild rank 25th in the league compared to the Canucks, who rank fourth. Despite all their success though, Minnesota have won just two games this season by two-goals or more, leaving this game wide open for the Wild to make a statement on the road.
Adelaide United vs Sydney FC
As far as FFA Cup Finals go, this mightn’t be quite the barn-burner fans were hoping for. Both sides have been ravaged by late injuries prior to kickoff, and it shows in the bookies’ odds. United go in without George Blackwood and Baba Diawara, while the Sky Blues will be missing Siem De Jong and a host of other crucial players on the sidelines. This feels like the kind of game that should finish all square at the end of 90-minutes.
