Scone – Race 2 1.55pm AEDT
Stella Sea Sun made her racing debut with a close second behind Safaris at Scone last start and if she can improve on that performance she will prove tough to beat. The wide barrier draw is slightly awkward, but she did show early speed last start and she does have the benefit of Robert Thompson in the saddle.
Scone – Race 4 3:10pm AEDT
Meraki Miss missed the start at Dubbo last start and there is no doubt that ended up costing her victory. I like the fact that trainer Cameron Crockett has been kept at 1000 metres and she has recorded her two race wins over this trip. She will be able to sit just behind the speed and can finish over the top of her rivals late.
Scone – Race 6 4.20pm AEDT
Moobi will start this race as a clear favourite, but Power Of Wexford has the ability to turn-the-tables on her rival. Her win on debut at Tamworth was very impressive and she found the line nicely behind Moobi last start. I don’t think that Moobi can improve on that performance, but Power Of Wexford definitely come and she has upside.
Scone – Race 8 5.35pm AEDT
Through The Cracks showed a lovely turn-of-foot on debut at Muswellbrook and he claimed a maiden race win in his last start before heading for a spell. His recent barrier trial at Newcastle was sound and there is no doubt that he still has plenty of improvement in front of him. He can make a winning return to the races.
