Stawell – Race 4 3.00pm AEDT
Du To Pass will start this race as a clear favourite, but he seems well and truly under the odds at his current price and I am happy to bet around him. Westham showed some promising during his maiden racing campaign and he has form around some fair gallopers. The $9 currently available is over the odds.
Stawell – Race 5 3:30pm AEDT
This is a drop in class for Allspice and this really does look like his chance to return to winning form. He has found the line fairly in each of his race starts and he maps to get a lovely run in transit with Dean Yendall in the saddle. He may never have a better chance to get another win on the board.
Stawell – Race 6 4.00pm AEDT
Tamerett has recorded two wins on the trot and there is no reason that she can’t continue her winning ways this afternoon. She didn’t have a great deal of luck in running at Warrnambool last start, but she still proved too strong for her rivals. Linda Meech will take her straight to the front in the early stages and she will be very tough to catch.
Stawell – Race 8 5.00pm AEDT
Zelsignoret finished a tough fourth at Pakenham last start and this is a genuine drop in class. She could not have been tougher the start before that at Kyneton when she sat wide and still won, so it is clear that she is racing in career best form. If she can maintain her current form, she will prove very tough to beat.
