Saturday night’s Sydney Derby was arguably ruined by yet another A-League VAR blunder, as the Wanderers’ Roly Bonevacia was denied a goal as the VAR ruled that Jaushua Sotirio had committed a foul on Michael Zullo in the lead-up, therefore, overruling the goal.
And with that, the fans waited for the words of Bozza to tell it like it is in what turned out to be one of the all-time great rants dished out during a sports broadcast.
The Option trading brokers Blog looks back at some of those unexpected rants, blow-ups and sometimes the feeling of not being mad, just disappointed that has appeared whilst watching sport on TV over the years.
Bozza did not hold back but it was smart of the FOX Sports production team to give him at least an ad break after the game to try and compose his thoughts about the whole VAR debarcle.
Right now, Bozza’s approval ratings as preferred PM is 99% higher than both Scott Morrison and Bill Shorten.

Johanna Griggs and Basil Zempalis
As the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony came to a close back in April, Social media was rife with people being genuinely disappointed with the show especially with the exclusion of the athletes parade on the ground.
Little did people expect when Channel 7 crossed back to hosts Johanna Griggs and Basil Zempalis that they would let rip into the ceremony, how they were denied access to the vision from the host broadcaster and how visibly angry they looked on camera – especially Griggs.
It did, however, make for great television and will be a moment that will be talked about for years to come.
The organisers of the closing ceremony decided to break with tradition and arranged for the athletes to enter the stadium before the start of the ceremony. #GC2018 pic.twitter.com/5DQFSGBTaB

The AFL legend that is Malcolm Blight was always known for doing things differently both on and off the footy field.
His moments on television are no exception.
In Round 2 of the 1997 AFL season, Richmond had defeated Adelaide at the MCG and Blight, who was in his first season as coach of the Crows, let rip into ruckman David Pittman in a post-game interview.
Years later, Blight in his role as a special comments man on Channel 10’s AFL coverage was asked to respond to an article where the then St.Kilda president Rob Butters was critical of his brief stint at the Saints.
Foz is known for wearing his heart on his sleeve when talking about the Socceroos and during the 2010 World Cup he didn’t hold back when discussing the then Australian coach Pim Verbeek.

Sure, New South Wales won this year’s series but it was a different story back in 2017.
When another Origin series went to the Queenslanders last year, the GOAT for NSW Joey Johns couldn’t hide his fury and disappointment at the Blues efforts and attitudes in general.
Perhaps this clip got a fair run in the NSW sheds to get the Blues pumped up?

Summing up the day’s play, the legend that is Richie Benaud gave his take in a cool, calm, collected way but he certainly wasn’t impressed.

Rex Hunt & The Smoker
Although this was on the radio, back in 2002 Rex Hunt was calling the Carlton v West Coast game at Princes Park for 3AW. The venue was yet to be 100% smokefree and big Rexy had some serious issues with one of the Carlton members sucking on a gasper in the John Elliott Stand near the 3AW commentary box resulting in one of the all-time great sports broadcasting blow ups.
